30 for 30: Days 10, 11 and 12

WELL. Things get behind schedule fast when you're supposed to be showing your outfits everyday! (Blame my day job. I always do.) Here are days 10, 11 and 12. Almost halfway done!

Day #10. I had this outfit on when I went into a sandwich shop. Things you don't expect to hear from the middle-aged man standing behind you in line: "Those are cute jeans. Who makes them?"

Shirt: Express
Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: DSW
Necklace: I made it.

Day #11: Don't worry, it was the weekend. I don't go to work like this.

Shirt: Target
Shorts: Macy's
Flops: Target

Day #12 (which was actually later on Day #11, but it's still another outfit sooo... it counts). I wore this out for our anniversary dinner.

Dress: Banana (it's this one)
Shoes: DSW
Earrings: wedding gift from my Mom

I still have two more days in the can, but I don't want to overwhelm you with my rainbow of colors like that. Sarcasm aside, this has been a good exercise for me because had I not looked at an archive of my outfits on a daily basis, I don't think I would've realized my clothing was so bland. Just like the mashed potatoes at a nursing home.

  1. Girl, you are ANYTHING but bland. You need to have a show where you come into people's closets and give their wardrobe a makeover. (Think of Clinton and Stacey with a nice, warm, mid-westerny charm.) And I'll be your guinea pig! Because I'm nice like that. ;-)

  2. Oh, that would be PERFECT! Or maybe Stacey and Clinton are looking for a sidekick...

  3. How funny some man told you cute jeans. Okay, maybe not funny, I'd find it kind of creepy...

    Cute outfits!

  6. That Banana Republic dress is fantastic! And what a price...I love finding a great bargain especially on clothes that are well made and fun.
