This is a lot for a Monday.

I love a good game show.  Jeopardy has always been big with me (speaking of, did you see Watson?). Once in a while I get to watch Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader, but Jeff Foxworthy's voice makes Hubsey want to bang his head against the table, so I have to wait until he's not home.

Anyway, I made up my own game. Who Made This Tragic Thing?

Answer this question and prove your brilliance: What retailer has recently paid a visit to Tacky Shoe Boulevard?

Need to use a lifeline?  That's fine, take a minute and ask your co-workers.

Ready?

Are you sure?

Target.

SIGH. Tarjay is one of my favorite stores ever, but every once in a while they come up with something like this.  Platforms, and gold, AND sparkles. Not only are they... um... eye-catching, but I'd be terrified of falling off that stiletto and breaking my fibula.

What do you think?  These are overkill, right?  Or am I just a party pooper?

  1. WOW... I believe those are the kind of shoes that make you want to find the nearest pole. Just sayin'...

  2. For real! I saw them in person, too, the last time I was there, and they're as bad as they look.

  3. Wow...definitely not shoes that I want to be seeing on anyone's feet soon...but they are a pretty good replica of these Steve Madden shoes: http://www.stevemadden.com/Item.aspx?id=51508&np=136
Still not loving them. At all. Ever.
    Great post though! :)

  4. Am I crazy? I don't mind them at all. Okay, okay... so the platform is a bit much. I think I vacation in Las Vegas too often...

  5. noooooo! i mean, i wouldnt actually wear them, but they are a pretty good knock off of the christian louboutins...a girl can always admire some glitter, but definitely prefer to put them on a shelf somewhere, maybe put my keys in 'em, something like that...hah! xox!

  6. Wow, those are sparkly. I love target, but sometimes their clothing and shoe selection is a bit curious!

  7. I like these! Actually I have a pair almost just like them, just with sequins instead of sparkles. Then can be worn right! Shoes like this can add glamor to a boring outfit in my opinion. Just make sure you don't have a lot of walking to do :)

  8. Well, I'm not really a shoe girl, so you shouldn't ask me... but they're definitely not my style! Some people could probably pull it off, though!
