I feel kinda weird sharing this fall-ish outfit from last week when it's 9,682 degrees outside. Today is supposedly the end of the heat wave, though, so that makes it a tad better:
scarf: I don't remember
This is one of my favorite outfits because it works for every activity I might do in a given day. It's appropriate for The Day Job, comfy enough for running errands, nice enough for dinner, and easy to move around in if I'm making something. It's just about perfect.
You might not be a fan of mixing neutrals, but I've been treating the boots like a color. There's enough contrast with the black to keep them from looking silly. Now if I had worn dark brown boots with this, it would've been... questionable.
While we're on the topic of questionable, I noticed a little something while taking these pictures:
It's time for a haircut. You can't really tell because the scarf is in the way, but my hair is boob-length. I'm kind of tired of how long it is, yet I'm VERY ATTACHED and I can't let it go. If only it didn't take me a good 20 minutes to style it everyday...
Anyway, do you have a favorite outfit? Are you cranky you can't wear it today because it's like the surface of the sun outside? (I am.) What about a haircut--just a trim or a choppity-chop?
