Before I get to this week's Pinterest Picks, I want to remind all of my local folks that I'll be selling at the Bucktown Holiday Art Show this weekend with 99 other awesome people. It's from 12 to 5 both days, and you can get directions and free admission passes right here. This is my third year doing the show, and the vendors are always amazing. Definitely worth a look if you still have more gifts to buy!
Anyhoodle, let's get some eye candy on. This is an adorable way to package homemade Christmas potpourri, and it's sure to make your house smell amazing:
What a cheerful little scene! I'm dying to get my hands on some of the old furniture we have around the house, but one thing at a time. Get through this weekend first, Paige.
This bow is just adorable. Sadly it's already sold, but this Etsy shop has a ton of other vintage rings to drool over:
Soup is one of my favorite things to make in the winter. Mainly because throwing things into a pot is about as easy as it gets, but also because I love any excuse for bread-dunking. This roasted cauliflower and white cheddar combination sounds delicious:
Back when we were spending 600 years looking for dining room chairs, we discussed buying different ones at thrift stores and just painting them the same color. We ended up finding something else, but I still do love the idea:
So what's on deck for you this weekend? Anybody else have a show? Or maybe you get so paint some furniture and I'll be a little jealous? How's your holiday shopping coming along?

Wonderful finds. Pinterest is good for keeping ideas until you have time to try them. The soup looks wonderful. TFS!
ReplyDeleteIt's my dream to get a long, narrow, weathered wood dinner table when we own a place. It being narrow will cause our guests to knock knees and be able to reach across easily... a quick way to shatter formalities!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the idea of the mismatched chairs. Imagine hunting for them, individually... Such fun!
Beautiful picks! And good luck this weekend! =D
