People always look at me funny when I tell them I think Valentine's Day is stupid. "But you're maaaarried!" Yep, sure am. And I expect my spouse to do cute things for me everyday (which he does), so I kind of feel like the holiday is pointless.
However, I know I'm in the minority with this one, so I'll step off my soapbox and get to shopping. If you're going to get your significant other something for V-Day, it should be something awesome:
Like this. A love typography print (I'm into these lately, aren't I? It's like cardigans all over again!), $11.
Or perhaps a dainty token of love, $24.
Or a shirt featuring romantic robots, $16.
Are you fan of Valentine's Day? Have you purchased any gifts yet?

I love this most, mostly because my print is in it!! i share your feeling about valentine's day, but i really think there is a way to acknowledge the holiday without all the cheese. these are perfect examples.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! I'd be interested to see how many people "celebrate" V-Day just because they feel like they should...
