People from the Midwest know it gets really hot here. But not usually in May. There have been record-breaking temperatures around Chicago this week, including a steamy 94 in my neck of the woods on Monday (plus 80% humidity!).
So what's a gal to wear?

Must. Tie. Ponytail. |

This is how I feel about being warm. |
t-shirt: F21
skirt: Express
shoes:
Kensie
necklaces: I made them
Even though I
wanted to sit in front of the AC in my bathing suit, I had to put on real clothes for work. Womp, womp.
Have you been
cursing enjoying this heat wave too? Wearing anything fun?
No heat wave in the northeast yet. Shorts are still in the drawer. That's a cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteBeen in shorts and flip-flops here for almost 2 months!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually been chilly here the past few days. I'm more a fan of spring and fall though. I love a cute turtleneck and a plaid, pleated skirt.
ReplyDeleteNot quite warm enough here yet, either, although I've managed to lose my coat finally. Looking forward to shorts, skirts, and dresses!
ReplyDeleteI'm passing the versatile blogger award to you! You can claim it at http://aalexandrajewelry.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

Oh heat waves...yuck. Right now we are having very unusual weather too. It's raining and freezing in San Francisco! OK, so the summer is usually cool but never raining this time of year! On a happy note, Must say, love, love, those leopard print shoes. Kensie is one of my fave brands (:
ReplyDeleteWOAH! I cannot believe it was THAT hot in Chicago so early in the year! Love a pencil skirt paired with a tshirt! xox!
ReplyDeleteMary, it's not usually so hot in the spring! That's 4th of July weather for us. However, we're back in the 60s this week, which is more normal.
