30 for 30: Rainbow Brite

I felt a little Saved By The Bell in this outfit, but I'm kind of okay with that:

leggings: F21
shoes: Kohl's
bracelet: Macy's

I end up in some variation of this outfit several afternoons a week. Sadly, leggings are not considered Work Appropriate at my office, so I have to save them for the jewelry-related parts of my day. Oh well.


tank top: Target
vest: F21
shorts: Gap outlet
shoes: Clarks
necklace: F21

Not groundbreaking for most people, I'm sure, but I wore wedges with my shorts here! I was about to say, "I've never done that before!" but just remembered that I had some hideous brown platforms when I was about 14 and I wore those with shorts all the time, so nevermind.

bracelet: Macy's

If I ever do another 30 for 30 Challenge, this dress won't be in the mix. It's hard to pair with things because of the pattern, yet it's kind of boring on its own. Good thing I have that vest, huh?

What are you wearing lately? Busting out some leggings? Trying heels with shorts? Wishing a dress was just slightly more versatile?

    I love the vest with the shorts and shoes. So summery but also dressy!

    I wish I could wear those big chunky belts with dresses. I see them and they're so cute, but not on me. =)

    The belt is actually pretty thin. I can't do chunky ones, either. They make me look short!

    Cute outfits! The white shorts and saved by the bell ones are my favorites.

    I'm pretty much in shorts and t-shirts all summer. I nanny for my regular job and have my own 3 yr old at home... so comfy, cool clothes are my best friends!
