Coming Soon...

I've mentioned my Etsy shop a lot on here (bridal jewelry, if you're interested!), and I've talked a little bit about the "other" jewelry I sell at craft fairs. It's still vintage-inspired, but with fewer rhinestones and pearls. Kind of like the casual younger sister of the original line.

Over the last few months that collection has grown, and it's time for some changes. For one thing, I gave it a name:

And now it's getting an Etsy shop! I'm working on the nuts and bolts (today is description writing day) and plan to have the whole thing up and running sometime this week.

Of course, I'll pop in here to let you know when that happens. But in the meantime, here's a little sneak peek:

My goal is Wednesday. We'll see how it goes.

Have you made any major shop changes lately? Anybody else running two shops at once?

  1. I can't wait to see the new shop! Love the name and the font and stripe design you picked out! In the more distant future the hubby and I have plans to open a shop together focusing on entertaining and home goods

  2. Thanks, Meg! My sister actually designed the logo for me.

An entertaining/home shop sounds awesome. And it would be extra fun to run it with your Hubs. :-)

  3. Fun name and fun pieces :)
I've added a TON of new things to my shop this year! I debated on whether I should start a second shop, but thought keeping it all in one would be easier. I'll be excited to hear what you think of running two shops.
    Good luck!!!

  4. Hooray for you! That is very exciting. I just added fabric to my paper-based shop because I wanted to keep it all in one for now. I'm not sure I can take on two shops at the moment! I'm looking forward to browsing when you get up and running. :)

  7. I've been thinking about opening a shop for my textile wares, separated from my paper creations. Won't be happening right now, but soonish... Need a name to being with!

Can't wait to see the feel and look of your new shop, and its contents!!

  8. Awesome! That's super exciting! I thought about doing two shops-- one for photography and one for stationery, but I've been keeping them together for now. I'll be looking forward to seeing your new shop once it's up and running!

  9. Gorgeous! My hubby toyed with the idea of opening a vintage shop--even got the banner, avatar, logo, etc. But I think he saw how much time I'm putting into my one little shop and decided to postpone that adventure!!

  12. Thanks, everybody! :-)

Yep, it will be a TON of work, but I really wanted to separate the wedding jewelry from the "regular" stuff. Easier for marketing purposes.
