I go through cycles with my wardrobe, like I think a lot of people do. I get into these ruts and I tend to wear the same handful of items over and over for a few weeks. Case in point: those bright green flats.
t-shirt: thrifted
jeans: Forever 21
shoes: Payless
scarf: Banana Republic
earrings: I made them
I've also been rocking this pair of jeans a lot, probably because they haven't met their shrinky demise in the wash yet. But that's only a matter of time--no matter what I do or what brand I buy, every pair eventually gets too short. (Any magical brands that won't let me down?) And now that I'm thinking about it, scarves have been making a lot of appearances lately, too. I seem to be a creature of habit.
So basically this outfit is a mishmash of the Paige Trends for Spring. Have you been rotating through the same few pieces lately? Does anybody not cycle through their wardrobe? What's your favorite piece to wear in the spring?
Ooooh! I love the shoes! What a fun hue of green. Love the casual yet chic and put together look of your outfit! And that scarf...perfect!
ReplyDeleteGAP jeans hold up forever, and I haven't had a problem with shrinking. They're expensive but I have 2 pairs I got on clearance years ago that are still in awesome condition.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love those green flats!
Love the shoes!! Perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteCute! This looks like such an easy outfit for the everyday. You're inspiring me to wear something beyond sweats to the grocery- lol. I'm with you though- I feel like I find a favorite "style" of outfit and basically just repeat that for a few days with different pieces!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way with wearing the same things over and over...then I move on to another group that I wear constantly.
ReplyDeleteCute flats :)
I have that issue with jeans, too. I think it helps if you let them air dry, but they don't seem to smell great when I do that unless I dry them outside. I definitely cycle through my wardrobe, too. Love the stripes!
ReplyDeleteI definitely keep wearing the same things over and over again! And then one day I see a shirt in my closet that I haven't worn in months and I'm like "Oh yeah! I forgot about that one!" And totally have the same jeans problem too. I could swear they get shorter and shorter and shorter.
ReplyDeleteI NEVER put anything in the dryer that I don't want to shrink. Laundry day is always insane at my house with the amount of wet tshirts and dresses hanging about. I would recommend doing the same with your jeans. Or buying really really long jeans and then hemming them after they're washed. Btw, love this look! SO comfy casual but very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI've been really into LIME green.
ReplyDeleteLove your look with the scarf! Lightweight scarves are great for Spring. TFS
Love the scarf!
ReplyDeleteHi Paige - thanks for commenting on my blog! Love the outfit - very cute! The green flats are great :)
ReplyDeleteI think the t-shirt and scarf are very cute!

Everyday Inspired
I've been wearing super saturated colors lately (and sometimes probably too many colors at once-haha). I posted an outfit today. I love those flats. Actually, I'm on the hunt for basic black flats and can't seem to find any I like that don't cost $$$. You would think you could find them in every store, but not so. I'm seeing lots of cute bright flats like yours, but I think I have enough color already.
ReplyDeleteStripes are great but LOOK at those emerald flats!! Fun fun!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, where did you get boot-cut jeans? It's like I don't even know you anymore... ;)
