This art display is fabulous, and I love the pop of yellow coming out of the back bedroom.
This is a metal prosthetic hand, circa 1580! I didn't know they had these back then! Look at it, it's like armor but more awesome. I want one! For display purposes, though, not because I lost a limb. If I lose an arm I'm getting a robot or finding a scientist who will give me superpowers.
On a more normal note, this sweater-scarf combination is adorable.
And finally, I think I need to get my own drafting table. I need something adjustable, and World Market (which might be my new favorite place) released this handsome gentleman a few months ago:

Oooh - love these! I could really go for that lavender ho-cho! I saw a table like that at HomeGoods a while back, I didn't realize it was a drafting table though!

I love world market. There is one near my apt and it's awesome. It's like a really inexpensive version of Pier One Imports.
ReplyDeleteUm yes, don't you just LOVE how grandma/ thrift store sweaters are in now??? I went shopping at JCrew last weekend and when I saw a sweater with a giant kitten head on the chest I just new that this is my fall;) LOL. Actually...I don't know if I'd have the bravado to wear it these days, now that I'm a "normal" adult.

Great finds! Yep, I think I need a new drafting table also. I've had one for years, but it got kind of messed up after the move last summer. I've tried adjusting it every way, but it's been a bit off-kilter ever since the move. The movers we used then also broke a dresser. Don't ask me how that happened. They must have dropped it off the truck. Anyway, I think after we move to the new house I'm going to upgrade to a nicer, more permanent drafting table. Also, that reminds me we need to book movers! So much to do, I probably shouldn't be reading blogs. Haha. Anyhoo, hope you're enjoying your Labor Day! xo
