I remember first seeing them over the summer and regretting my no shopping experiment. Of course, they sold out at my usual location while I waited, but we just so happened to stop at a different store on the way home from the show. That happy place not only had the color I wanted, but they were 50% off--meaning these were only $9.98.
For the record, you can still get some of the colors online, but they're full price. Scandalous!
These are a little more "real grownup" than what I usually wear, which seems to be part of a new pattern. I was also looking through a Land's End catalog the other day and I thought a lot of it was awesome. As in, I dog-eared several items and might ask for them for Christmas. So I don't know if that means I'm getting old, or if Land's End is cool now.
Either way, I have some dope new shoes. Are you into this new loafer trend? I wasn't until I saw these. Love the tassels. And the poppies. Are you getting any new shoes for fall? If you're at Target, I recommend you try these on!
Sweet kicks! I like Landsend too - but do fine everything runs big - I'm normally a medium everywhere else and need smalls there. Just a heads up.
ReplyDeleteI actually love Lands End and LLBean, too. Lands End is starting to make slimmer fit clothes, although their pants sizes still aren't small enough for me. I dog-eared my LLBean catalog that just came and will probably do the same with Lands End. Great find on the shoes!! I LOVE when a bargain works out like that!
ReplyDeleteI'm still into ballet flats. In fact old navy has come out with a variety of pretty colors. Those shoes definitely look like your style.
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are great! Reminds me of a Marimekko print :)
ReplyDeleteLike Kristen I like Lands End (good quality polo shirts), except for the pants which aren't small enough!
Love these!!! They're like an awesome cross of loafers and smoking shoes. The tassels are great. I've scored some pretty killer shoes at Target over the last couple of years. You can't beat $9.98!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your show was a success! And what fun to reward yourself with rockin' new shoes!
ReplyDeleteThat is so weird...I left a comment here earlier, and now it has disappeared!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, just wanted to say I think your new loafers are GREAT! And such a bargain too :)
I buy lots of polo shirts from Lands End, because they are good quality but not the pants, which are way too big!
It was in my spam folder! Weird! It's back now. :-)
DeleteYay that the freeze is over! I'm not usually a loafer person either, but I used to have some silver ones that I wore to work all the time. I think it's just that they look great in weird colors, you know? These ones are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI totally like these and even though they are loafers, the pattern makes them not so "old lady". I think they are super cute. How wonderful to have such a successful show! I sometimes forget to pat myself on the back when big good things happen like that so it's good to hear you haven't forgot to congratulate yourself. There's nothing like some smokin Target shoes!
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable! Now I want to go buy some too. Sure, one foot is in a cast, but i need to accessorize the other one, right?
ReplyDeleteI actually really need new shoes, so I'm on the lookout too. Love that blue pattern! Actually, I've bought a few things from Lands End Canvas over the past couple of years. For the most part, it's Lands End quality but cut in younger, more fitted styles.
ReplyDeleteI just bought those in the tan/white polka dot color! I love them, but they hurt my feet sooo bad. Funny how shoes always fit perfectly before you buy them, huh?
ReplyDeleteThose are SO CUTE! I need to go to Target ASAP!
