No injuries that we know of, just 600,000 people in greater Chicagoland without power (including us--24 hours and counting).
It's been sweaty.
Anyway, here are two more 30 for 30 getups:
dress: local eco-chic store
shoes: DSW
necklace: F21
earrings: I made them
This dress is like wearing a cloud. Or being hugged by an angel. The fabric is bamboo, which you may not think would be made of snuggles, but it is.
This is how I look when I laugh. |
tank: Kensie
jeans: F21
shoes: DSW
necklace: F21
Anybody else in the midwest get slammed by the storm yesterday? Are you also without power and blogging at Panera before you shuffle off to your cubicle? Perhaps the weather is great so you went shopping and bought something pretty? Do tell.
The weather here is just Africa HOT... and all I bought yesterday were yoga clothes and groceries. Not too exciting! Orangies Attic
ReplyDeleteLOVE the black dress Paige! So chic!
ReplyDeleteI am in Wisconsin and we luckily missed the storms, just had a little bit of rain. Love the dress get up! Very classic. :) Sea Marie
ReplyDeleteCraziness! I have a friend in that area and she's without power right now.
ReplyDeleteLove that dress! And I love anything made out of bamboo. It is made out of snuggles.
Melody, yeah, it's not fun to be without it for this long. It feels very... rustic.
ReplyDeleteI love that layered tank. We've had crazy storms here too. Lots of trees down.
ReplyDeleteOh no!! Poor tree.
ReplyDeleteLove the black dress!!
Totally love the second outfit!!! I'm in the midwest but its been hot and humid here!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Was all of that damage at your house? I hope not! Fingers crossed that you get power back soon. I know how that can be & it sucks.
ReplyDeleteBoth of those outfits are adorable on you, btw.
Athena, no those were trees from around my neighborhood. We live in a condo, so the only damage we had was to Hubsey's car (a mirror fell off).
ReplyDeleteAnd the power is back, too, so it's all good!
