We had wonderful weather this weekend. Slightly cooler than it has been, not oppresively humid--an all around good time for arboretum-ing and floating around in a pool.
In fact, it's gotten me thinking about some potential items for fall:
Of course, when I put these together on Polyvore I wasn't paying ANY attention to the prices of things, so now that I've gone and fallen in love with a pair of boots that *would* work for the office (the other ones are going back, sadly), I realize they're $750.
My bad.
Is anybody else getting geared up for fall? Having trouble finding versatile, yet still very awesome boots? Did you have a little break from the heat?
I am so excited for fall weather because of boots (not to mention I'm done with this awfully hot Baltimore summer weather, which means fall arrives in late October). I would totally check out Zappos for boots. I bought a pair of Frye boots last year on sale for $160-- originally around $400. They usually have sales, but you have to check back regularly and snag them when you can!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a great deal! I found some Frye boots on Pinterest, and of course they were 9 zillion dollars. I'll have to see if Zappos has them yet. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteLove that watch in the second picture! Zappos always has a bazillion shoes to choose from. And free shipping both ways! They also seem to upgrade shipping a lot so sometimes you get your shoes in two days!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I'm ready for it to cool off just a bit, but I'm not quite ready for fall yet.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the shoes in the top photo. And what about your other boots? You didn't return them, I hope. They were adorable.
ReplyDeleteJanet, the other boots are going back to the store. I did a little fashion show with my work outfits and they just didn't mesh. They were a little expensive to be once-in-a-while boots, sadly.
ReplyDeleteFall! I am so excited :)

cute finds! I am already thinking of fall ::sigh:: =( It has been soooo cold here for so long.. we honestly got maybe 15 days (that's being generous) of actual summer. Now it's cold and rainy outside
ReplyDeleteLove those shoes in your first set. Fall is my favorite time of the year, i can't wait for it to get here. I can cover up my legs with tights again, woohoo!
ReplyDeleteCute outfits! I'm glad brown is back. I'm a bit ambivalent about orange.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, I love that pumpkin color:)
ReplyDeleteThat first outfit is gorgeous! I would love to find a skirt just like that. So perfect.
ReplyDeleteLast autumn/winter, it took me forever to find good boots, but I ended up finding some lovely Steven Madden ones that I purchased through Victoria's Secret. Hope you find some you like that don't cost a trillion dollars! :)
fall is so inspiring, orange shades are the best transition between summer and fall! Cool picks!
