On the Cheap: Goldenrod

I don't know what's up with me and yellow lately, but I'm ALL over it. I've been adding more of it to my wardrobe, spray painting one of my $4 candelabras, and putting a lot into my favorite items on Etsy. I also half-joked to Hubsey that we should get a yellow entertainment center, and he didn't even answer. I think because he was too excited for words.

Anyway, back to the aforementioned favorites on Etsy. Lots of yellow, indeed:

Starting top left, the recycled paper ornament is $10, the patterned lumbar pillow is $38, the cheerful charm necklace is $14.50, and the adorable "together" pillow is also $38.

Are you starting any new color fetishes? Anybody else on Team Yellow with me?

  7. Seriously?! $10 for that ornament? I made a TON of those one year when DD was small and I was too afraid to use real Christmas tree ornaments. Cut used christmas cards into circles, fold, glue together, done! $10! That's highway robbery. I don't even think I spent $10 on buying the cards.

  8. Couldn't agree more about the yellow. A nice rich, golden, mustard yellow is the one for me right now. (I may have made that shade up).

  10. Great finds! The ornament is lots of fun, and I love the lumbar pillow. I am not a fan of yellow, but I would put that pillow in my house in a heartbeat.

  11. I agree- I'm not too much into bright yellow but I do really like mustard (and burnt orange for that matter). I wanted to try making one of those ornaments, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Great finds!
