(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Rocking my world:

Tea-Rex (ha!) coasters, $15

Making me cross-eyed:

floor plan

elevation sketch

My final project for drafting is in full swing, and I grossly underestimated how long it would take me. (I also have some work for my other class that I haven't started yet.) Whoops! Note to self: finals are just as time-consuming when you go to college for the second time.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go chain myself to the dining room table so I can finish drawing the furniture.

  1. You're floor plan looks great! I stare at plans all day for the real job and admire those putting them together. I skipped the design side in school, I couldn't draw.

  3. Um...I am getting those coasters for the fiance. He LOVES dinosaurs. Thanks for sharing the dino-fun.

Don't make those chains too tight now...you'll definitely lose feeling in your hands then you won't be able to do ANY drafting :p

    Good luck!

  4. I remember when I was in grad school how hard it was to be a full-time employee by day, student by night, good girlfriend (to my now hubby) AND still have time to study and get my work done. Looking back, I'm realizing I should have worn a cape to class because damn it, I'm Wonder Woman! And so are YOU.

Good luck with your finals, Paige!

  6. Lovin' the plans! My motto for figuring out how long studio projects will take: estimate the time you think, multiply it by 2, then add 10 hours. Haha...usually pretty accurate :)
