Anyway! I'm not here to be a Debbie Downer. I'm here with Pinterest picks to end the week on a high note.
This is a brilliant way to spice up an otherwise plain chest of drawers: textured wallpaper. (This would be cute on the backs of shelves, too.)
I want this couch! Exactly this! When we were initially shopping for one before the move, I had something like this floating around in my brain, but did we find one like it? Of course not. Nice to meet you, couch. Good to know you exist:
This is a great reminder of why Shel Silverstein is one of my all-time favorite people:
Yes, yes, these are earrings from my own shop. I had to post them for a couple of reasons: one, I haven't given you an update for a while, so I thought I would tell you there are a few new things over there. And two, Marilyn is my brain twin and has something nearly identical hanging out in Pulp Sushi. Clearly, we were meant to be friends:
I love lasagna and I love zucchini. Put them together and there will be singing angels and glowing sunlight. Get in my belly:
So what's up for this weekend? Anybody have big plans? We're seeing the nephew again before he goes back to California (my little squish isn't so little anymore--waah!) and doing some more work in the basement. Maybe I should do a post about that? I kind of want to wait until everything is done and then knock your socks off all at once. Thoughts?
Loving that textured wallpaper on the dresser, great idea!! Love all of your Pinterest picks, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat lasagna looks divine :) Cute earrings! You know how much I love roses!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of doing a before/after series of my studio renovation. I like seeing the process involved in renovating. You might want to do that too!
I love that textured wall paper in the dresser!
ReplyDeleteNo big plans around here this weekend. It was a busy week, so staying home sounds pretty great :)
Ha ha! I love the idea of using texture wallpaper that way. :)
ReplyDeleteThe lasagna is looking delicious, it's getting close to dinner time over here, so it looks extra good now!
ReplyDeletetaking a step back is always good! I've been sort of doing that this week. Well..lets face it not really. I've been in a creative block and I can't seem to think of new ideas even though I just got my supplies in yesterday. I think I'll blame it on the freak warm weather we got this week. It's suppose to cool down and hopefully my brain will cool down too.
ReplyDeleteI have no big plans but I might force myself to do some more sewing. I can't really leave my new supplies alone that long..seriously.
Hope you have a relaxing weekend!
That couch!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo big plans here either for the weekend, but that's ok. It will probably just be a catch-up weekend.
We have a big ugly ceiling we need to repair in our living room, and we've really considered using that textured wallpaper to just cover it up - paint it white, call it a day. I love the way it looks on drawers too, and I love the couch!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend lady, hope the weather is gorgeous your way.
Great selection!
ReplyDeleteZuchini lasagne, huh? Doesn't sound half bad.....
Zucchini lasagna, yum! Perfect for the warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteI have the lasagna pinned too. hello. MMMM.
ReplyDeleteand love the wallpaper over the dresser. would be great for something with a veneer that is chipping off.
by the way......couch = love
