Nice to meet you! Tell us a little about yourself.
Hi, I'm Holly. I'm married and we have an adorable, wild child whom I stay home with. We also have two cats. I'm currently in school, taking classes online towards my Bachelors degree. I also have a shop on Etsy.

What's the name of your blog? What do you like to write about?
I blog at bookandbird.com. I post about parks we visit, what I'm reading (modern fiction, classics, poetry), and favorite things. I love photography and shooting film and try to incorporate a lot of pictures of little adventures we go on.
Tell us about your Etsy shop.
My shop used to be called Lit Prints but I changed the name to match my blog -Book And Bird. I sell prints and postcards with inspiring messages.

How did you get started on Etsy?
I saw an Etsy seller on a talk show and was an instant fan of the site. Once I built up the courage, I decided to open my own. I used favorite quotes and made a few prints. There was so much to learn at first, and I would be in the forums every night trying to learn more. Once I learned about tagging and SEO I started to get a few sales, added more product, and was surprised to see my shop grow.
Any new products you want to tell us about? What's next for you?
I added a few new prints to celebrate spring last month, including one with a favorite John Muir quote: “All the wild world is beautiful." Once the semester ends, I hope to add new line of colorful prints for summer.

ReplyDeleteHer prints are so whimsical!
ReplyDeleteI did a trade with Holly waaaaaaay back when, and then I found Book and Bird the blog and didn't put the two together until, like, 3 months ago. I'm glad I made the connection. Now to go check out her shop (again). :)
ReplyDeleteLove her prints! I'm a new follower.
