Before I go, let's take a look at this week's Pinterest picks.
You know I love a good IKEA hack. This one involves a $30 side table, some spray paint, and marble contact paper. Pretty clever!
This is some beautiful lace. The folds of fabric on the skirt are interesting, too, and totally elevate the whole dress. Without them, I think this might've been kind of ho-hum:
I still haven't set up any kind of storage for my personal jewelry. It's all in the jewelry box on my dresser, but I'm falling into the trap of wearing the same handful of things over and over again because I don't feel like digging for something else. Having the pieces displayed, maybe like this, will make it easier to see everything:
Hubsey and I have the same phone and I can't tell you how many times we've accidentally taken the other person's charger and wandered away with it. This week's Duh Moment is to put washi tape on one of them. Seriously, I'm smacking myself on the forehead.
Gorgeous workspace. Let's count the pretty things in here: the gray shelving, the planked ceiling, the silver desk lamps, the industrial chairs...
What fun things to did you find on the web this week? This wasn't on Pinterest but I came upon a description of every meal Almanzo Wilder eats in Farmer Boy, which was delightful. And that lead me to this picture. You might not want to look at it with a mouth full of coffee or you'll spray.
Any big weekend plans? We're going to another birthday party tomorrow, followed by our anniversary dinner at a French restaurant (yay!). Sunday will probably be a catch-up day, and I need to work ahead on some posts so I don't go totally MIA while we're out of town. Whew! I'll be back on Monday for the blogger taco party. Be sure you join us to see all of the tasty goodness!
I love that dress and I agree if the pleats weren't there it would just be a 'meh' dress.
ReplyDeleteAlso, excited to see you today!! hopefully it doesn't rain until after we meet!
That dress is lovely with the asymmetrical pleats!
ReplyDeleteI display my jewelry almost like in that photo. I keep rings, and earrings on a vintage two tier stand and hang my necklaces off a metal frame with hooks :)
Have a great weekend!
The workspace! Oh. My. God. I need that now. NOW!
ReplyDeleteBusy, busy weekend coming up! We have dinner guests tonight and Gus's 4th birthday party on Sunday, and then his little friends are coming to play on Tuesday, so I get a day reprieve in between each event to reset. Coincidentally, our house is full of good food to eat but I can't touch any of it. Have a great weekend!
The dress and workspace are both beautiful! What a great idea with the washi tape on the phone charger. Great set of picks as always. Have fun with Ayla today!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE that dark teal dress!! And the workspace is to die for. All that natural lighting and storage -- and a HUGE workspace. I am SO jealous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to work
ReplyDeleteI love how that workspace looks! I should change mine a bit up, but I have no idea where to start. Might be a good project for sunday.
ReplyDeleteLove your style Paige! Keep doing what you do! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great finds!
Hubby and I had a chill weekend last. It was great! We did go on a long bike ride on a trail and stopped for ice cream on the way back.
