Four Years

This picture is two years old and as of today we've been married twice that long. Whaaaat!

Hubsey asked if I wanted share one that was more recent, but this is one of my all-time favorites. We were on vacation in San Francisco and took this during a break from window shopping in Union Square. It was warmer than usual that day and I remember being happy that I could finally take off my sweater. If you've never been to San Francisco, it's a chilly place. We decided to take advantage of the sun instead of going into another store, so we found some steps and shared an iced coffee. This was in the days before we had Instagram and we weren't really in the habit of photographing every little thing like we are now, so this everyday capture is a nice keepsake.

Today is a school day so I don't have a lot prepared, but I wanted to do something. I was going to share a picture from the wedding, but all of them are on the other computer and its battery is dead. My bad! This one is a better representation of our marriage, anyway. It's the little things that really make us.

We've known each other for almost a decade, have been a couple for seven years, and have been married for four. I'm lucky to have somebody who's smart, ambitious, funny, and likes to watch Netflix as much as I do. Happy Anniversary, babe. I'm excited to see what happens next.
