UncommonGoods carries all sorts of things, about half of which are handmade. Most of their products are made here in the US, and about a third of them involve some kind of recycled material. Everything is broken down into helpful categories to make browsing easier, too. After browsing for a while, I found two things I thought were amazingly cool! Firstly, I think the marimo moss ball (http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/marimo-moss-ball-light-bulb-aquarium#pr-header-back-to-top-link) would be the most perfect thing for my desk back at school. It'd definitely add a bit of cuteness (as would any plant to a work space!). I would want to get two of these kits just so I could do one with my roommates and my family could do one with each other!
