I'm tardy for the party here, but for some reason I never looked at any of H&M's home collection until a few days ago. I don't even have a good excuse, I was just... I don't know. Doing other important things like watching 90 Day Fiance while I switch all of our artwork to white picture frames. (You're losing the battle of darkness, cave house. Another point for the humans.)
Anyhoodle, this makes me like H&M even more. They're one of my few go-to places for tall lady clothes, and now they're selling pillow covers?! Be still my heart. For shoppers in the US it appears that this stuff is online-only, just an FYI.
The things I have here are a pretty good cross-section of what they offer. Like IKEA, they have a few general styles with a bunch of items that fall into each category. Some are really bright and fun, others are softer and prettier. It's all crazy affordable, too; the most expensive thing here is the rug and that's only $30. As for me, I want that green pillow. I want it hard. And I wouldn't say no to the orange rug, either, but I'm not totally sure what I'd do with that. It would look dope by the front door, but it'd get awfully dirty... I'll have to ponder.
Have you checked out their home collection? Do you own anything? What's your favorite piece? Who else's credit card is suddenly burning a hole in their wallet?
I've checked out H&M Home, but I wasn't too impressed...I like Zara Home better :)
ReplyDeleteNothing beats IKEA though! Now if only I could find that stripey rug I'm after..sigh.
The squirrels are cute :)
Hold up, Zara has a home collection, too?! I'd better check it out.
DeleteI would like to check it out again... but I'm so disappointed of quality products there, so I'm very skeptical to purchase anything there. I like IKEA, Pottery Barn, and Home Goods better though:) But i like the pattern you pick, very graphic!
ReplyDeleteOh snap! Poor quality?! That's a huge bummer. I haven't purchased anything yet and now perhaps I won't...
DeleteI love the green pillow! Ikea is my fav too, never tried this one.
ReplyDeleteMy sister in law bought a couple really cute summer dresses from H&M last summer, and she told me and I was like, I've never even looked at their catalogs before! I had no idea they had HOME stuff too!!! Totally need to get on their mailing list! And yes, that green pillow is awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for an (affordable) wire basket, but I haven't thought about looking at H&M! I was talking with my friend today about spicing up my balcony for spring and summer :-) I like Zara home too, but I think some items are a bit expensive.
ReplyDeleteI love H&M for clothes, and I briefly glanced at their home collection and liked what I saw. IKEA is so spot on when it comes to my style (suuuuuuper minimalist) that I don't usually stray though. Maybe I do need to break out of my comfort zone if only just for a couple of those cute pillow covers.
ReplyDeleteYou know what's funny? I've never been in an H&M or an Ikea. I've never lived near one (they are putting in a big H&M in Honolulu, though) and I hate buying things site unseen. I do like that green pillow, though!
ReplyDeleteUh, what?! I didn't even know they sold home products! These are great too! Off to check out their website pronto!
ReplyDeleteLove the pillows and ottoman. The basket reminds me of something I used to gather eggs as a farm girl---not the best of memories. I still hate chickens. So I'd have to pass on that.
ReplyDeleteLove the mix of colors paired with whites. I'm all about decor on a budget :)
ReplyDeleteI almost ordered something from them back when they first unveiled the home collection. I went with something else though, and then I just forgot about H&M for a while. I'm always excited to find more decent-looking home stuff that's affordable though. And I agree about the tall lady thing. I'm not even that tall, but H&M is one of the few stores where I can consistently find tights that are long enough, the bane of my existence. I was just telling someone the other day that a pet peeve of mine is when the chart on the back of tights is completely wrong, i.e., the tallest size only comes up to mid-thigh on me. I should do a pet peeves post! Haha. :)
ReplyDeleteI never knew that H&M had a home collection. I actually stopped shopping for their clothes a while back. I do like that green pillow cover. Doesn't really go with the home decor but it's cute!
