Pinterest Picks

I know it's Tuesday and I normally do Pinterest Picks on Fridays, but last week was too crazytown to get it done. I was planning to have it ready, but on Thursday my brain was like, "Girl, don't even." So I  went shopping instead and it was a nice little break. But since I'm trying to get back in the swing of things (read: actually blogging), I have a belated version for you now! Good thing there's not an expiration date on this stuff.

I love the masculine style of this bedroom. I might like delicate jewelry, but I hate fussy decor. The dark tones and general lack of color here are right up my alley:


Elbow patches on a cardigan! I could probably do this myself, once I have a free second:


It's the time of year when things are muddy and gross outside, so I'm thinking ahead to summer. These are popsicles made from Sprite and gummy bears. Brilliant!


Pillow covers are one of the few things I feel confident sewing, and but I still like to see a good tutorial once in a while to make sure I didn't forget anything. Plus, aren't these fabrics cute together?


And finally, for my fellow Parks and Rec fans...


I feel like I've been out of Blog Land for 100 years. How have you been? Anything exciting going on? What's on deck for this week? Who else is so busy they worry about brain explosions?

    I think any kid would love those popsicle. I couldn't handle the gummy bears though. I love the pillow tutorials. I think I want to start making my own pillows now. I always seem to have troubles with the little things. Like.. pillows or napkins. Give me a bag any day.

    I was doing really good keeping up with my blog until recently as well... now I feel like 'road block!'. LOL

    I love those pillow fabrics, and I'm so with you on decor. I tend to prefer clean lines, simple fabrics, and a bit of masculinity...

    I am not much for fussy decor either. The bedroom is beautiful. Elbow patches on a cardigan is a fun idea! I think I could handle that, too.
