Father's Day Gift Guide

The one thing I notice the older I get is that men never know what they want when it's time for a gift. I used to ask my dad every year if he wanted anything for Father's Day (which is the 16th, by the way), and he never had any suggestions. Helpful! I know a lot of people are in the same boat, so I did something special this year to help us all out. Hubsey might not be a father yet, but he IS a dude, and I know what kind of dudely things he enjoys. So here's the Hubsey-inspired list of appropriate Father's Day gifts, all from Etsy.

1. Fancy Shaving Kit. Hubsey got one for Christmas this year, and said it made his skin feel softer. He doesn't use it all the time, but if he has to shave before a big meeting, this is what he uses.

2. Meaty Cutting Board. If there was such a place as Steak Town, Hubsey would live there. He also likes to cook more than I do, and I know he would get a kick out of memorizing all of the various cow parts.

3. Leather iPad Sleeve. All of the technology holders he ever mentions are leather. I can take a hint.

4. Steak Seasonings. He not only cooks, but he grills, as a lot of men do. And new steak seasonings would make him even more excited about it.

5. Manly Geometric Coasters. Hubsey always uses a coaster. He worries about prolonging the life of our furniture, so every glass gets a buddy.

Hopefully some of you found this helpful! I actually have my Father's Day gift already (whew!) but that's only because I stumbled upon something good way back when I was Christmas shopping. It's been sitting in my office closet, waiting for its cue.
